Hideaway Rio Celeste

"One experience that truly stood out was when my wife accidentally left a garment by the pool. The staff found it and personally brought it to our room. That level of honesty, care, and outstanding customer service says everything about this wonderful hotel. During our stay, we also booked several excursions through the hotel, including a visit to the breathtaking Rio Celeste Waterfall and an exciting white-water rafting adventure. Everything was well organized, and both experiences were unforgettable. We had an amazing time exploring the beautiful surroundings. The property itself is peaceful, beautiful, and the perfect place to relax while enjoying the natural beauty of Costa Rica. Every member of the staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was memorable. I truly couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you to everyone at Hideaway Rio Celeste for making our trip so special. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for an unforgettable Costa Rican getaway."

"Property was amazing! Beautiful views. Rooms were clean and nice. Bathroom was clean but shower and taps did not work. Shower will only give hot water. Maintenance came to fix it but was then stuck on that temperature. Shower system was very hard to maneuver and adjust. Breakfast buffet was marginal. Resturant was expensive and not so good. Overall we enjoyed our stay!"

"The property was absolutely beautiful, Will maintain, and the staff was wonderful! Even though it’s a large resort, it didn’t feel busy because there are so many little areas, walking paths and Hot Springs to escape to. We will definitely be visiting again! Excellent vacation!"
Volcano Lodge Hotel & Thermal Experience

"The place is so lovely! It rained the whole time we were there and we never saw the volcano but it did not matter. We spent our whole time on the property. The jacuzzi we had was amazing and the food in the restaurants was delicious!"
Sangregado Lodge

"We enjoyed Sangregado Lodge. Upon arrival, we were greeted and offered fresh coconut water, which was a nice touch. The highlight of this lodge is the spectacular view of the Arenal valley. The lodge had very few to no amenities but its location high up in the mountain made it feel more remote and less touristy than the resorts on the main La Fortuna road. The room was spacious and we slept comfortably. The lodge doesn’t have a restaurant so they partnered with the Lost Iguana resort (which is a 3 min drive) so that guests can have breakfast or dinner there. It worked well but if you’re looking for a hotel with amenities and the convenience of a restaurant, this doesn’t provide it. All in all, we enjoyed our stay here and felt the view from the balcony was second to none."
Tabacón Thermal Resort & Spa

"We stayed at Tabacón for one night, and it was the perfect way to experience the property. The thermal hot springs are absolutely beautiful and feel very natural, with multiple pools and waterfalls surrounded by lush rainforest. It was peaceful, relaxing, and unlike any other hot springs we’ve visited. The grounds are immaculate, and the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. My only wish is that we had stayed longer to fully enjoy everything the resort has to offer. If you’re visiting the Arenal area and want a luxury experience immersed in nature, Tabacón is well worth it."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Arenal Kioro! I could not have been happier with our choice! The rooms were so nice and spacious, huge windows, comfortable and clean! The view of the volcano and hotel grounds was spectacular. The on site and off site hot springs were beautiful comfortable and everything I hoped for! I only wish our stay was longer to more fully enjoy everything the location had to offer. Every last one of the hotel staff was kind and helpful. I can’t wait to go back!"
