"From my arrival to my departure, this stay was excellent. Every member of staff I encountered was friendly, informative, professional and welcoming. The room was spotless and had everything I needed. The location of the hotel is excellent, and the receptionist recommended a couple of places to visit. I will definitely use this hotel again"

"There is no Spa. Our room was clean but only one towel ,cup for 2 people. No hairdryer in room. We booked including breakfast and then had to argue the point booking form said breakfast included but hotel said no. Also was given a 5 pound voucher for evening meal put voucher on table at start of meal and placed it on bar next to cash register to pay because we didn't actually hand voucher to cashier he refused to accept the voucher. I asked what we should have done with voucher he suggested we wave it under his nose. Reception staff no help refused to refund the voucher amount as well stating we should have made it more obvious."

"Very welcoming and friendly staff. Offered us a welcome drink which was lovely and we could use our rooms to drop our items as they had already been cleaned which was very helpful as we were in the area for a wedding. The amenities and room were great and bed was very comfortable. We were told that there would be live music until 11.30 and drinks available downstairs in the bar until 1pm but weren’t made aware of the loud music that would be playing which did continue until 1:30pm - we were staying on a Saturday night so am sure this wouldn’t be the case if staying on other days. We arrived back late from the wedding anyway but I wish we had been aware of this prior to booking as I had to stay awake for a good hour until the music was turned off. I would recommend staying here but if you don’t want to be involved in the late night music, it would be best to stay here outside of Friday and Saturday night. "

"Parking was easy and secure. Location was good with lots of local amenities. The room was very basic but very clean which is the most important to me. "

"Spacious, clean but basic room, comfortable bed, modern shower/bathroom. Good free WiFi. 5 minutes walk from station and shops. "

"I drew the attention of staff to the cleaning of the room especially the toilet, which was not cleaned during my last visit, because I was in the same room last week. It had not occured before so not sure why."
