"Beautiful area,The Silverton Inn is a lovely welcoming place,the staff are so helpful and friendly. The rooms are lovely and clean and the food was really good. So peaceful and there ,great to unwind. Would happily visit again."

"The staff, we found to be friendly, helpful and efficient. Room bedding and towels were clean with replacements available if required. Rooms were serviced alternate days, but also on request. Breakfasts were well presented with plenty of choices from hot, cereals, fruit, pastries etc We had dinner most evenings, which we enjoyed, with a choice of 2 or 3 courses. Also sandwiches were available if requested at lunch time in the bar."

"The hotel is OK. Our room was on the groundfloor and seemed a bit tired. It wasn’t a large bed and we were kept awake from 4 -5am by the television in an adjoining room. Parking at the hotel is easy (reduced payment for guests) and it’s convenient for the M5 and Exeter airport."

"Very good value accommodation in Exeter. Very much what you would expect as this is normally student accommodation (don't expect luxury). Check-in process is pretty straightforward and staff helpful. Best to drop your bags at reception area then move your car to parking as it is not too close. Bed was very comfortable. Kettle with coffee & tea in room. Little fridge as well. Breakfast was overall excellent with self serve cooked food (but avoid the fruit juices - awful)."

"Staff were the best thing about the hotel stay. Room was nice enough for our 1 night stop over (family room) with breakfast. Could have been cleaner in the room, no AC, and standing lamp didn’t work. Also could hear the people above moving around."

"I appreciate this is a eco hotel but for the price paid it was unacceptable levels of heat. They say that there is an air filtering system. It was absolutely boiling and uncomfortable. There were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. You have to go outside to get this to be honest with you when you have a short breakaway you just would like to have reasonable facilities in your room. We had to queue for the lift. I would definitely not recommend a stay stop here"

"What a superb gem of a hotel. Location is ideal for travelling with plenty of car parking. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and the room had everything we needed. Breakfast was extremely good with a wide selection of continental and superbly cooked and varied hot options. Ate dinner in the restaurant and the meal was lovely. Originally booked one night travelling south and then decided to stay again a few nights later when travelling back. Will definitely be back."

"Great pub super location but the restaurant part needs looking at had English breakfast twice and it started at 8am we sat down at 8.05 and the bacon, sausage, hash brown were rock hard and a lot of people were asking for yogurt but were told sorry but delivery was late (3 days late) Would we go again. Yes"

"Breakfast good choice, poached eggs overdone and staff cheerful. Paper thin walls mean you hear every small noise so not great. Lovely grounds to walk in and the nearby Rock Inn pub well worth a visit."
