"The Thistle London Kensington Hyde Park was a great place to stay in London. The staff was excellent. The location was central to everything. There is a hop on hop off bus stop right in front which is convenient. With the gardens right across the street it was a great place to stroll. Royal Albert Hall is directly across the park. It was a wonderful stay. Karina at the front desk was very helpful."

Rooms are tiny and amenities are sparse (no shampoo/conditioner, for example), but this may be typical for the area. Location was very convenient and charming."

The high point was the strong A/C -- only installed 1-2 weeks previously. There were three windows on one wall with shades that did not operate -- all the threads were broken. The beds were soft. But the worst problems was the bathroom -- toilet, sink, and shower. We noticed that when we flushed that toilet that first...
