"Läget på hotellet är bra, det är enkelt att ta sig till och från. Snabbheten i restaurangen är inte den kvickaste, men ändå ok. Det som var tråkigt denna gången (vi brukar bo här i samband med Chelsea Flower Show) var attityden på frukosten. Det tog oss 15minuter att få vår kaffe och de som kom efter oss fick både sina kaffe och omeletter före oss. Vi påtalade detta vid utcheckning och gick till svar att det var ju tråkigt att höra. Inte riktigt vad man väntar sig av ett hotell i denna klass."

"The hotel is really local to everything - we booked a petite room and it was definitely small, but very comfortable. Close to a lot of shops, museums and the royal albert hall. Would definitely visit again."

"La ubicación es muy buena, está en una colonia tranquila y segura, el acceso es muy cómodo al tener las claves con anticipación. El hospedaje incluía desayuno y los lugares sugeridos son lindos y con personal muy amable. El cuarto tenía cortinas blackout muy buenas, lo único que pudiera mejorar es el colchón, no era el más comodo. El personal estuvo en contacto en todo momento, muy amables."

"The location of the Thistle is a huge asset. Although, like many travellers, we like the vibrant and diverse scene in London, the fact that the Thistle is a fine property across the street from Kensington Gardens means we were never more than a few steps away from a true metropolitain oasis, complete with attractive flower gardens as well as the Italian Gardens fountains and café. The staff at the Thistle are competent and helpful and the rooms comfortable. One aspect to note. We first stayed...

"The property was undergoing refurbishment which we were not made aware of. The tiny lift was difficult to access due to workmen during daytime. The room was not serviced after day one and had to ask at reception for fresh towels. No water replaced . Small room on 3rd floor. Blinds broken and no plug in washbasin. No phone in room and reception not always manned."

"It was a wonderful stay for our family. The lady helped and found us a bigger room for our family, so we can sleep comfortably. The place also close to all the convenience store, places to eat and park. "

"The building is lovely and the garden is such a bonus. We were there for 4 nights . We met a lot of the staff and they were all friendly and very helpful. The location is perfect. Very quiet, safe and peaceful to sleep and walk in. Kensington Palace and gardens a quick 15 minute walk and Hyde Park 5 mins. Bayswater Station is a 4 to 5 min walk, TONS of fun places to eat and or drink within the same five min walk...Tesco Express and other independent shops to pop in to for snacks or fruit, etc....

"Very clean, great location, and friendly staff. I stayed during a heatwave and the no air conditioning wasn’t fun, but I understand it’s an old building probably difficult to upgrade. But overall, fantastic place and would recommend for anytime besides the hottest week of the year!"

"Beautiful building, great location. Safe and clean. My room was a bit of a squeeze, but otherwise it had all I needed for a 2 night stay. I was on the ground floor with a lovely double door exit to a pebble-stone courtyard (great for keeping the room refreshed)."
