The location was great for dinner plans and a short easy drive to Churchill Downs. Breakfast was delicious—especially the biscuits and gravy. "We were in town for a concert. Venue was 1.5 miles away. Hotel was clean, great staff, plenty of free parking and convenient snack purchase availability. Two social areas with TV's and bar available. Great to watch Final game of NBA and cheer along with complete strangers!!"

"Such a lovely building, clearly loved by all who work there. Information about the property, check-in procedure, etc. was communicated very clearly before my arrival. Fresh lemon blueberry scones were there for a snack when I arrived near midnight. Wow. When booking, I didn’t think about the lack of elevator at this property. My 68 year old knees did complain a little when climbing the external & interior stairs with my luggage."

"Very nice hotel, staff was pleasant. However, when asked for extra pillow was advised that only maintenance had access. I think the front desk clerk was the only person on duty. Which I Found that kind of strange that there was no one else available since the hotel was very busy."

"Lots of guests Saturday thru Sunday morning but lots of garbage piled up today at the entrance was slow to clean the entrance area. Lots of people camped outside the entrance smoking cigarettes, very low class looking. Also their only microwave available to the public in the lobby was broke and they provided no other replacement except a sloppy handwritten sign over it saying not working. Surely this hotel has another microwave somewhere they can find to help guests. All rooms do not even have...

"Due to closing of 65, I needed a place to stay close to UofL for my son's orientation. We've never stayed in this area. But it was super close and easy. Small hotel, but quiet and convenient. It's by the airport, so expect air traffic noise, but otherwise perfect stay."

"The room and kitchen were adequate. It's honestly what you would expect from a 2-star hotel. The bathroom was not clean; hair in the bathtub, what looked like some kind of black mold on the shower curtain and the tub drained super slowly (standing water while in the shower/tub). Decided to just not shower during our stay, but my husband's aunt said we would say something, so we did on the second day of our stay.
