Upon arrival, we were given a map showing the island’s beaches and restaurants, which was very useful throughout our stay. The breakfast was also delicious, with a wide variety of options. However, based on previous reviews, we expected the area to be quieter. "We couldn't have chosen a more perfect place to stay for our first tike visiting than Kalamaki beach hotel. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The room was perfect for us three and it was spacious enough for us girls. The balcony was huge and we had a great view of the ocean. We loved the hotel restaurants and pools! That was one of our favorite parts. The beach was also so lovely! It was sandy and very beautiful."

"AMAZING STAFF!!! Wow George and his wife Dragana were outstanding helpers; from getting us settled into our room to boat rentals, and everything in between! The young baggage boys were very welcoming and nice too. Definitely a party place, don’t stay in Laganas if you’re not ready to party with 18-23 year olds. Town is mostly filled with tourists from UK, Ireland, and Italy. The staff made the hotel feel like home."
