Already considering our return!!

My wife and I had a great stay at Dura Villas. We booked a one bedroom Premium villa and were lucky enough to be upgraded to a two bedroom villa. We didn't need the extra room (which was locked for our stay) but it meant we had heaps of living space. Whilst there were some cosmetic issues in our villa, they didn't really detract from the overall experience for us. It was wonderful to be collected from the airport by Made who take care of us and drove us around for much of our stay. As Dura Villas is a little further away from the airport than a lot of other accommodation, the airport transfer is an excellent feature to have. We liked that the villas were a bit out of the main tourist areas however the hotel shuttle was able to take us anywhere we wanted to go, within a 5 km radius. The only downside of the shuttle was that depending on where you went, they couldn't come and pick you up again. It was explained later that if you told them what time you wanted to come back to the villa, they could arrange something. We loved our private pool and took full advantage of it. The semi-outdoor bathroom was lovely and the outdoor shower was a hit. Unfortunately, the shower near the pool didn't really work very well. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the room service options. We had pizza one night and it was awesome!! We loved our included breakfasts too.

Wonderful stay, excellent accommodation.

The villa was very private, clean and the service staff excellent. Private pool was very clean. Courtesy bus was always available for us and all the staff were friendly, professional and extremely accommodating. A surprise bonus was the availability of room service with a good variety of food on the menu. All meals were freshly cooked and lovely. Whilst the Villa is not near the tourist areas, the courtesy bus took us wherever we wished to go. They even took us to a local supermarket and waited whilst we did our snack shopping! We stayed for 10 nights and will definitely return. A huge thanks to Ari the Manager.

Comfortable stay with familiar staff

Dura Villas is a quaint property with 5 private villas. The staff are incredibly friendly and very welcoming. Driver, Madi was exceptionally polite and helpful during our stay assisting with pickup and drop offs as well as offering suggestions for our trip. The villas itself is relatively older and parts of the property would benefit from a facelift. For instance, there is slight moulding along the soaker tub and some of our sheets had stains on them. Daily breakfast was provided to our villa but would be exceptional if more variety was offered in the selection. The distance of the villa is about 30 mins away from Oberoi but daily traffic lengthens the commute. Please note that there is no standup shower although the soaker tub does offer a detachable shower head. There is no kitchen on site therefore food is provided third party with breakfast as an exception. There is a cute cafe close by (chakra cafe) that is open except on Sundays. A good start to our vacation on the friendly island of Bali.

Awesome experience

The place was perfect. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Spent most of our time in the Villa as we were enjoying ourselves too much! Only not so good point is that the breakfast was not the best. It's nice still

The villa is very nice overall and very spacious. Service is good especially from the staff by the name of Made who also acted as our local tour guide and driver for the day. The villa is far off from everything else, so if you're looking for privacy then it'll be suitable. Else plan your day travels well. It seems the villa has been around for a relatively long time as you can tell from the condition of it. Some parts in the toilet are moldy and paints are either chipping off or cracking. Overall, good experience.

Wonderful luxurious villa

The property owner is particularly detailed with what is provided in the villa. The villa is especially spacious with a large living room, huge bathtub, and there's a restroom just next to the pool/kitchen. I'm also delighted to find a water dispenser in the dining area. Save me time/energy/money from getting bottled water for cooking. The staff take pride in what they do and ensure to provide us with the best comfort during our stay. They would diligently light up the mosquito repellant incense and switch on our aircon at night to cool our room for our return. Our fridge was not working well at one point and the staff were ready to change another fridge for us. Thanks Mr Ari & staff!

Big Spacious Villa

The staff is great here and will go above and beyond to fulfill your needs. Alas, as it is surrounded by forestry, expect a few unwanted critters, some of which are noisy. If you notify the staff they will try their best to get rid of those buggers for you. There is a great kitchenette so you don't have to eat out all the time and a shuttle to and from the airport. They also provide shuttles to 2 city areas, you just have to find your way back. All in all, a great place to stay.

Pool villas

Ligger avskilt men hotellet hjälper till med transport. Det finns inga restauranger i närområdet men det går att beställa mat från hotellet som dukas upp i villan. Fina villas med en härlig pool.

Perfect rest

Small complex of very large, well designed villas. Great for a quiet getaway. I love riding scooters, so the 20 minute trip to Seminyak and the beaches was great. Would be a hassle if you did not have transport. Staff were lovely and very helpful, the villa and the pool was great. The villas are a little older than some, so if you are looking for 5 star gloss you might be disappointed. If you are looking for great value accommodation, great pools and friendly staff - I would highly recommend Dura VIllas

Dura Villas was amazing. Highly recommended

I had such a relaxing time at Dura Villas. My objectives to rest and recuperate where achieved with ease. I would highly recommend the villas to anyone looking for a quiet area to relax and enjoy in privacy and still have the option of doing all the touristy stuff in the evenings or during the day but why would you want to leave a place that offers you so much beauty in your villas gardens with your own pool and the privacy to just be yourself and tan au natural if you wish to. The butlers were so accomodating especially Wayan and Hadi who were very attentive and really wanted to ensure that I had everything I needed. I had my 40th birthday at the Villa and the boys and the crew bought me a birthday cake and came and sang happy birthday to me which was unexpected and very lovely. I would definitely go back. Without question in a heart beat. Highly recommend a visit here.
