"We had a wonderful 3 night stay just after the New Year. The hotel is full of character, and the room we had was clean, spacious and well appointed. Service and food amazing. Not cheap but well worth the price given the experience we had. "

"Room was lovely, clean and thoughtful touches. The public areas bar dining room lovely comfortable seating. Highly recommend as location to the town is ideal easy walk. "

Breakfast was excellent.
With a fully loaded mini bar which had everything you needed for a lovely stay. "

"I had a very comfortable stay. The room was a generous size with an excellent bed, and I appreciated the in-room touches—tea and coffee, a fridge, and a smart TV with iPlayer and Netflix.
Parking spaces at the front were difficult to get, but the overflow car park at the neighbouring hotel is just a short walk away and worked well for me.
All the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was very good. Overall, a smooth and pleasant experience."
