It is an older building in Old Key West. That said, the property is maintained and offers many amenities. I was disappointed in Expedia for stating price seen was final price! We were hit with daily resort fee, with staff stating it paid for the "complimentary" wine and cheese and Continental breakfast. Either there's a fee or it's complimentary.
We rented the 2 bedroom apartment and were quite happy with the privacy of being away from the main building. We loved the spacious attached patio where we could play our own music without bothering any neighbors. Both rooms could use new mattresses but was ok for our 3 night stay. The Continental breakfast offered a nice variety of foods. We wanted to try the waffle maker but weren't inclined to wait as it was popular. We were also confused expecting water bottles each day in our room. We did have water upon arrival but were then told to refill our bottles in the kitchen.
We enjoyed sitting poolside and along the hot tub. Hot tub was very private surrounded by all the natural vegetation. Fresh towels were amply provided daily. We agreed we would probably come back as the location was perfect. Uber was readily available if we didn't want to do a 20 minute walk but many attractions were close. Recommend LaTeDa for great food, best Pina Coladas and friendly outdoor bar
