"It was clean, quiet; mattresses were a bit soft for those of us with back issues. Not a lot of choices in Richland Center; we would stay there again."
"The pool and sauna were closed and had been for a while. I attempted to get a refund but was told because the website informed that the pool was closed I could not. They said they might (couldn’t promise anything) comp me for the extra days but I would have to pay for that night. I checked the website again and them informing people of the closure is a small text at the bottom of their front page, hardly a real notification. The room was less than well taken care of, the bathroom door had holes in it and the bed headboard was carved up and had pieces of fake leather falling off. (I have pictures before the hotel claims it isn’t true as they have done in previous reviews) The hotel had very few people working and they were usually hard to find. Cleanliness was okay but not overly so and you had to request housekeeping if you wanted it. Overall it wasn’t a horrible experience but it was not anywhere what is expected of a hotel that claims to have great amenities. Do yourself a favor and stay in Tomah instead."
"It’s a 2 star hotel so expectations were set. This hotel had the BEST WATER PRESSURE I might have ever experienced in a hotel. Bathroom was updated nicely, and a great shower."
"Property is poorly maintained. Barely a trickle of cold water from the sink. Garish daylight bulbs in all the lamps. Dank smell in our room. Bathroom exhaust fan sometimes wouldn’t turn on. Ice maker was out of order. Even the beds (with built-in headboards) were on the wrong wall, making it hard to navigate the room.
Beds and pillows were ok."
"A welcome surprise, booked accidentally and we are so glad I did. Its an older motel, but the owner was wonderful, so freindly, rooms were surprisingly bigger than expected, bed was comphy, location was great, Viroqua diner right next door, it was quiet, clean, we have nothing bad to say. Had frig, micro, coffee pot, TV was good, free wifi, just a great experience all the way around."
