"I was disappointed with my stay because several details listed about the hotel were inaccurate. There is no airport shuttle service, and lunch is not provided, contrary to what was advertised. The room itself also needs attention. The sofas and bed are outdated and should be repaired or replaced. "We had a wonderful stay at Yarra Valley Lodge and couldn't have been more impressed. The property is set amongst beautiful natural surroundings, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere that feels like a true escape from the city. "This is a fantastic place to stay. Kangaroos and large sulphur-crested cockatoos feel like part of the cottage itself. You naturally greet the animals as you see them around, and in the early morning you wake up to unique bird sounds that make you feel as if you are in the middle of the forest. The fireplace in the living room is wonderfully warm, and both the indoor and outdoor dining areas are excellent."

"We loved staying as a family for a weekend getaway. Their staff was helpful and welcoming. The room was clean and cozy, but we only needed it for sleep. The breakfast buffet was good. We also used the indoor pool with the kids. It would be nice if it were a bit warmer for winter. Otherwise, it was nice to stay close to the shopping center to do some shopping and eat a variety of food. The parking had good space as well."

"The room was comfortable, clean & nicely furnished but the shower floor & tiles were quite mouldy. The downstairs toilets needed a good clean too. A good breakfast was available but the eggs were cold. The restaurant meal and staff was excellent The hospitality staff and chef were exceptionally good & went out of their way to provide excellent service, as we were having a birthday celebration there. Every aspect of our event was well planned and managed & everything went well."

"Overall stay was pleasurable. Nice cottage and quiet surrounds. Just a few things- Lucky key box was already open as we weren’t sent a code or check-in details. Cobwebs and dust hanging from windows, ceilings and fan was an eyesore. In the accommodation folder says bacon, eggs and yogurts were supplied for breakfast, no yoghurts, and weren’t expecting Aldi packaged sliced ham instead of bacon and Aldi prima’s. No curtain to cover the window facing the loft bedroom which let the hot sun beam...
