Overall standard of bungalow is ok, general cleanliness also ok however pillow & mattress protectors were filthy, stained & covered in hairs. We had to remove these before putting our own sheets on. These should be washed after every guest. Sofa cushions need a good wash too. BBQ is not usable, we had to buy disposable bbqs. What really disappointed me was the hidden charges you are not advised on until the day/day before your trip. Email from owner states £36 for linen and towels (have never had to pay for any of this and we travel most months), £20 to use the hot tub & £24 if you have a dog but (advertised online & in the welcome book at bungalow for £20) The extra charges should really be made clear prior to booking. We would have used the hot tub but as we only would have used it once we didn’t think it was worth the charge. I wouldn’t return due to hidden extra charges and overall standard.

Would definitely recommend

What a gorgeous property, the photos dont do it justice. We will definitely book this bungalow whenever we visit Norfolk now. It's a lovely quiet location but still close to supermarkets and beaches. The bungalow itself is lovely and clean and has everything you need, and the ensuite bathroom really gives it the wow factor. Theresa is a great host. We actually had a problem with the smoke alarm on our first night, completely out of her control, but she got it sorted straight away with great communication. I'd recommend this bungalow as a home from home to anyone visiting Norfolk.

Well placed and comfortable

Well placed for the North Norfolk beaches. Has plenty of space for parking out front, is detached with a private and secure rear garden. The hot tub is slow to fill, advice is to plan 30 mins ahead when you want to use it. The bins in bathroom and bedroom had not been emptied. Also found a baby’s dummy under the bedside table. This marred what was otherwise a clean house. Also, be prepared to take your own bedding and towels or pay a fairly substantial surcharge for them being supplied.
