"Unfortunately storms the prior week devastated what was left of the beach front area. Workers were moving sand and filling large sand bags during our stay trying to save what was left. Other than that situation, which was out of the control of the lodge, we had a wonderful stay. Text communication was outstanding as they checked on us during our stay. "Wonderful hotel…except there is no elevator! King bed room is extra large…not much decor..nothing fancy…it is clean! Top floor has nice views of the ocean but those stairs… There is a luggage elevator. "

"Absolutely loved our stay outside of a hiccup with a neighbor complaining of our dogs barking at 1 pm directly after we left the room. Couldn’t recommend this place enough. The rest of the guests were friendly and courteous! The property was clean, well laid out with fantastic amenities. We will definitely be back! "
