"Had low expectations of a motorway services hotel but was pleasantly surprised. Arrived late and had a really pleasant welcome by the guy in reception. Asked where I was off to in the morning and pleased he did as he told me about the shortcut to get back on the M6 southbound. Saved me a 20mile detour. Lady in the morning was also very pleasant. The only point I would make, is that we always feel under pressure to vacate our room before 10.00 during the week, with house keeping staff knocking and sometimes entering our room even though we put out the appropriate sign to indicate that we are still using the room.
