"We stayed in one of the Bear Huts. Although I'd seen the photo, I did not think it was going to be as cramped inside as it was. It's certainly not big enough for two people. The large and very comfy bed was fitted over storage space and was so high up my husband had to help me up onto it in a very ungainly manner. Definitely needs a step up of some sort. "Clean, small room. Flat pillows, thin walls-could hear the person next room snoring. Breakfast doesn’t start til 8 on weekends, so not useful for an early flight. It is close to the airport which is why I picked it"

"Royal Highland is an ideal location and at first glance a quality hotel. However we were given a room on the 3rd floor (attic) which for close on £400 for two nights was way below my expectations. The window is very old and shows signs of rot. It didn’t keep out the noise from the street or the plant downstairs.
