We had some issues with the room: the bathroom door didn’t close completely and the microwave locked itself down and it took much effort to get my drink out. "Good stay when I needed some rest on my way home from a trip. The guy behind the desk was super friendly and helpful. Pet friendly, no real area to potty your pup.... so plan to be taking your pet for walks. But a nice, super basic yet comfortable place. I couldnt figure out working the tv for the life of me, but you can always call the front desk during their working hours! Served it's purpose for my dog and I on our way up the coast."

"The Inn is located in the center of Occidental. The Inn is older, which is part of its charm; however, the room we stayed in had a very strong damp smell, which was not inviting. We were on the first floor, and it felt like the family above, with their small children, was in the same room. Every step and door closure you could hear. There were missing slats on the window blinds, allowing light from the patio in. The one attendant, JP, was extremely helpful and was the highlight of the stay....

"Loved everything about this stay. Although it was a last minute booking, the staff was very pleasant and patient. The hotel is very clean exceeding expectations and feels very safe. Plenty of parking, amenities are great. Feels like a very luxurious room. They even have a safe in the closet. "The front dress personal was not very helpful, did not try and work with us, about check in. We were attending a wedding and all ready in a stress situation being part of the wedding.
