"The room was spotless, with a big bed and all amenities. Cleaning when requested was also excellent. The balcony was lovely, overlooking coconut trees, with space to dry clothes after a day at the beach. The real highlight of Choengmon Residence was the staff. They were friendly, thoughtful, and made the best pad thai on Koh Samui at the restaurant downstairs. The mango shakes and Thai tea were also delicious!"

"Our room was dated. Beds were quite hard. Housekeeping was bare minimum. Reception staff adequate but not all that friendly. The upgraded pool suite lacked comfortable seating or lounge type chairs to actually enjoy your private area. Breakfast was ok but more choices would be better. With that said, I'd say this resort is more like a 4-star resort.
