"Nice and quaint ryokan with free shuttle service. The tourist information centre can help to contact them for you when you arrive. We booked the only room with an outdoor onsen and bathroom as we were travelling with a toddler. All other rooms don’t have any private toilets. Dinner was amazing and served at sister ryokan 5 minutes walk away. Breakfast was served downstairs. The staff were always smiling and ready to help. Very friendly and welcoming ambiance. "We love the Arima Onsen Hanano Ryokan. They picked us up at the train station and even carried our bags up to store our luggage. Yes, getting to the inn meant climbing up some stairs. This might be a problem for some people with mobility issues. But the climb was all worth it because the service was impeccable, the hotel was exceptionally clean and the room was spacious. For such a minimalistic inn, it has everything we needed and more. This inn is traditionally Japanese with modern facilities. ...
