We stayed in a Modern Pool Villa.
During our stay we returned to the villa one evening to find a mouse in the bedroom. We then discovered a hole behind the sofa and droppings inside the kitchen cupboards, which was a clear hygiene concern.
To their credit, the staff on site responded quickly that evening and eventually relocated us to another room. However, this was obviously disruptive packing essentials and moving late at night, especially with a small baby. We completed a full move to another villa the following day.
While the staff we dealt with were polite and tried their best to help in the moment, we were disappointed with how the matter was handled afterwards. Despite the seriousness of the issue and the disruption caused, no meaningful compensation (e.g a refund for the disrupted night) was offered by the property management. We had very small token gestures. We would’ve preferred to resolve this direct with them but found communication very difficult.
Earlier in the stay there had also been ongoing construction noise from a neighbouring property. Given the price point of the villas, this experience fell well below what we expected.
