The host was kind and helpful. The room, while enormous, was shabby and musty. The clth covered furniture was badly stained, the bedding had torn sheets and pillowcases, the cloth covering the refrigerator had something on it and was in need of washing, the bathroom was really in need of s thorough scrub. No complementary water or coffee, but it along with other junk foods are present in the room for purchase. The hotel is surrounded be excellent restaurants and is just a short walk to the beach, and the Maenam morning or afternoon markets. I liked the area enough I moved to another hotel and extended my stay in the area.

SO UNIQUE!! What a delightful surprise to discover after check-in, that Everest is actually a serious organic vegetable farm. And, as a guest you're gifted access to every kind of lettuce, celery, rocket/arugula, and more. The love and care the proprietors put into the cultivation, is so special. Everest is also a short walk to a quiet but very long beach, and there are a couple of restaurants, chill bars, and grcoeries all in walking distance. The rooms are not immaculate, but the other elements make up for it.

DON’T GO THERE, read also the newest google reviews! Very rude and negligent staff, first we got the wrong room, but no apologies only a bored look and a new room, the whole building was tilted and ready to collapse, very dirty rooms, no cutlery or plates and cups in the kitchen, nothing to wash the dishes with, room cleaning only once during our one week stay, no clean towels or bed linen at all, have to ask for more toilet paper, ants and other insects inside, mold and bad smell, couple times sewage water started to come from the pipes to the floor in the bathroom when the neighbour flushed their toilet…

Petit hôtel sympa rapport qualité-prix top.

Séjour en solo très agréable. Equipe sympa et souriante. Chambre un peu vieillote et la clim a besoin d'être arrangée mais ça fonctionne et pour le prix c'est top. Super lit, les draps et serviettes sont changés. Attention par contre aux moustiques c'est l'invasion!!! Très bon emplacement : Autour de l'hôtel plein de super restaurant. Superbe plage à 5mn de marche.

Awesome Place

The mother and son working at reception are simply the kindest people around. They both went out of their way to help us during our stay. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. There’s not much to do in the area, apart from going to the beach, which is fine since there are miles upon miles of gorgeous beaches to enjoy. If you’re looking for an awesome beach getaway, I highly recommend this gem of a hotel.

We had a great stay at Everest Resort. The owner was very welcoming and he gave us a choice of two fabulous rooms on arrival. You cannot get better value for your money than this resort! We had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable

Room for improvement.

This property seems to be undergoing an upgrade. The lobby/restaurant areas were under construction. The room was spacious, the AC worked, but there was a bad smell that seemed to be coming from the plumbing in the bathroom, which was attempting to be masked by 4 or so orange scented air fresheners. When I arrived, my room was not ready. I waited over an hour before there was an explanation, or a prediction of when the problem would be resolved. Frankly, I'd have been happy dropping my gear in the lobby and waiting on the beach, which is a short walk away, or even in the bar next door, rather than sweltering, mystified, in the lobby. While I was there the power went out unexpectedly, possibly due to the construction. I was checking out, so I don't know how long it was out.

Great place close to the sea

Nice location - close to the sea. At Maenam Resort there is a good cafe on the beach. The Indian restaurant to the left from the hotel is also good. There were so many insects and animals - ants, who ate even the toothpaste (so do not leave any food on the table), frogs which managed to get in during the nights, bugs..But this is Samui))) The staff is quite relaxed, so if you need cleaning in the room - just ask at the reception, they will do. The room was not 57 m2, as indicated on booking, rather around 30 m2.

Cosy and Cool... but not much else to it

The staff were incredibly polite, the room was clean and beds were comfortable. Great for a short stay and only a 10 minute drive/ride to Fisherman’s village and 15 minutes from Chaweng. Also very close to the beach. 3.5 stars

Gut gelegen aber ruhig

Ein ruhiges Resort, nahe am strand und gute einkaufmöglichkeiten in der nähe. Leider ging das kabelfernsehen nicht, lag aber nicht am resort.

Work in progress.

It's in a good location, walking distance to beach and several bars and restaurants. The property needs maintenance it seemed like a work in progress. AC didn't work had to be moved the another room fortunately that was a newer AC. Water pressure was insufficient, that had to be repaired. TV did not work as no decoder in the room. Occasionally the water supply in toilet was brown in colour And it would correct itself, not sure why or how. The cleaning staff were great but did not seem to have the time to do the rooms daily , only upon request did they oblige.

Hatten ein Bungalow. Haben sogar ein upgrade bekommen. Gute Lage. 200 meter vom Strand. Preis Leistung super. Sehr sehr freundliches Personal.

Mukava halppis hotelli. Huoneet ihan siistit ja todella ystävällinen henkilokunta. Lähellä rantaa ja vieressä myös hyviä ravintoloita. Ei kaukana pää tiestä. Tullaan ehkä uudemminkin

Wonderful Stay

I was pleasantly surprised by my stay here. The little cottage I had was very nice and comfortable. The bathroom was great. There were 6 windows, and it was nice to open for some of the cooler breezy mornings. The ac worked great. The bed was comfortable and I enjoyed my table and chairs on the porch for working at sometimes. Having a tea kettle is always a plus. The majority of the other guests were from Russia, and I made a couple of friends, while learning my first few Russian words. It was always quiet, with the exception of the occasional child's cry or laughter. In the mornings & evenings, as I laid in bed, I could hear the crashing of the waves, along with insects, birds and monkeys (?) It was a short walk to the beach, and China town. You could find foods from EVERYWHERE! I ate at a French bakery a few blocks away, and a fantastic Indian restaurant, just a couple of doors down. I try to eat mostly local foods, and there were plenty of those too. The island wasn't as expensive as I'd expected, and I enjoyed it a lot. I've spent nearly 3 months in Thailand in just over a year, and I would definitely return here!!

Great low cost hotel

Really good stay. The owner is very pleasant as are all the staff. The room is super clean. I had a king room the bed was amazing and the pillows super soft. Great bathroom, large fridge, freezer and wifi everywhere.f Highly recommend place to stay for the price. Just a short walk to the beach and close to Hippos Gym
