Most comfortable bed in Thailand

We found this hotel after staying in somewhere out of town and needed somewhere cheap and comfortable in a great location. It’s straight off the strip, in the bathroom you can hear the Muai Thai announcer for a portion of the evening but the bedroom is silent. The bed is one of the most comfortable we have had in our month across Thailand and the little cabins are both quiet and cool. The bedding is a large towel instead of a blanket which took a minute to get used to. The bathrooms are mixed and the shower is over the toilet which is why we rated a little lower on cleanliness, sometimes you’ll run for a wee and stand in someone’s shower water. The food in the hostel is excellent and well priced we barely left for that regard, perfect for nights out and the beach we extended our stay for a few more nights.

Amazin hostel

My staying at P168 was very good. The mixed room has individual pods that offer almos the same privacy as a private room. The cleanliness and the fast Internet are good points. The hostel's restaurant is good, it has a very varied menu and is priced fair. And the high point is staff, who are attentive and friendly. I had no setbacks in any of my 5 days staying.

My stay at P168 was very good. The collective room is very organized and has individual staterooms that offer almost the same privacy as a private room. The cleanliness deserves to be highlighted. The hostel's restaurant is very good, it has a very varied menu and is priced right. And the high point is the staff, who are very attentive and friendly. I had no setbacks in any of my 5 day stay.

Terrible Experience !!!

I booked via Hotels.com for 2 nights. I checked the confirmation email from Hotels.com. However, they said my booking was not registered on that P168 Hostel. I even showed the confirmation email received from Hotels.com, but they only said that Hotels.com booking program system may have some problems that I don't understand at all. They introduced the alternative room which may not be equal I expected condition in terms of money, facilities, noisy circumstances until 5 am etc. I am very much disappointed on their treatment. I have never experienced this situation in my life time. I am still wondering how the p168 hostel have such kind of system problems. ( over booking )

A neat spot, especially during high season

We were very excited to find this modern designed hostel, as it reminded us of another we had stayed at in Amsterdam. While the staff are super friendly, and the location is perfect, we found the overall vibe to be a bit lacking. It could be us having stayed during low season, as we were hoping to meet a few fellow travellers and the hostel was quite quiet overall. In addition, we found the private room a bit minimal, and the floor bath to be a bit more put together. That being said, the food is a great price (especially the beers), but know that the included breakfast is not as comprehensive as the one advertised. A great value, perhaps even more during the high season. If your first priority is close proximity to the beach and culture - this is your place.
