Front desk was very kind when I checked in. Even gave me water which was much appreciated.There was some trash in the corner of the room on the floor when I arrived from whoever stayed before me. Room air did not work correctly. There was a sign on the room air unit that basically said their system wasn't working correctly and they apologize for the inconvenience. That would have been nice to know before I booked. There was a window unit running but it made the room way too hot, even when I tried to turn it down. There was water puddled on top of the unit from the condensation running off of the inside of the windows. Had to turn the heat completely off because the room would not cool down. Plus, I was worried about the abundance of water sitting on top of the unit. I ended up just letting the fan run for the rest of my stay although it was bitter cold outside. The water dried up that way. The fire alarm went off for a good few minutes my second night there. No annoucement was made as to what was happening. Stood in a puddle of water when I took a shower because the water drained so slowly. Found a disgusting old dirty towel shoved in the hairdryer bag. No telling how long it had been there. Walls seemed very thin. Could hear doors slamming often. Over all, my stay was just OK. I can't say I will be back. Didn't try breakfast so I have nothing to rate there. Again, encounter with staff was friendly. Bed was clean. The facility itself definitely needs improvements.
