"Jian at the front desk was amazing and very helpful. everyone was amazing from the house keeping staff to the breakfast staff, we were fortunate enough to go in January before the earthquakes and volcanoes. it was the best time of the year to go, there were no crowds and we were able to get around everywhere with no traffic. "Took us about 10-15mins on foot to the centre. The path was slightly uneven; one or two bends were quite dark but the torchlight in our handphone was good enough to provide additional lighting. No worries about security issue though; we felt safe. No local amenities around. Cave House is pretty, unique, spacious and generally comfortable.
