The staff always have a smile and want to help in any way I have stayed here previously and this trip was for 25 days I have no hesitation in recommending this friendly hotel, and if you want to be out of Central and Kowloon, come to Aberdeen, its a beautiful town, the harbour is beautiful, the fish market and across the water is Ap Lei Chau I will be coming back again to The South Nest next year Congratulations everyone *****5

They honoured the reservation and did not ask for deposit if not using a credit card. Just examined the room after checking out. Overall great staff, quiet neighborhood and a good hotel in Hong Kong for the price. They’ve set the benchmark for my stay to find a nice hotel and not a hostel.

Me and my family stayed here for 16 nights. I didn’t feel the rooms were very well cleaned. We were given the same cups for the whole 16 nights. We asked if we could change the cups (as we had coffee and tea every morning) the cleaners said no and she could just wash in the sink for us. The bedsheets were not changed every day. And the other guests talked very loud in the corridor every morning which really disturbed our sleep every morning. We mentioned this to the staff and they said we could just complain to the hotel, not very helpful at all. I do not recommend this hotel, do not stay.

Our room wasn’t sufficiently cleaned in almost three week stay. Mentioned to staff, ignored. Two cups in room, asked for a change and were advised we must wash them ourselves in the bathroom sink. On checking out, we were charged $400hkd for a blood spot on a sheet, which would have paid for the sheet five times over. There was a very disappointing attitude on anything of concern brought to reception. We wouldn’t stay here again if they paid us to. It was a poor experience all round.

I stayed here for 15 nights to August 9th 2025. I found the staff to be very helpful and accommodating, The room service girls were amazing and made the room spotless EACH DAY. The bus services from Aberdeen were frequent and easy to navigate. I would recommend this hotel South Nest, and Aberdeen is an amazing place to stay or use as a base.

This is my fourth time to stay in South Nest, so the facts tell. Staff are helpful and polite, room is always clean, the house keepers are so thoughtful…. I definitely will come back !
