The resort is fairly new and very nice. Rooms are beautiful and staff very helpful and friendly staff. Only question I would have is that the 2nd pool was cloudy, and the water shoud be clear. I would stay again, definitely

We had a great stay at Sikara, the staff were amazing and the room was perfect to come home to after a day of exploring. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Location is very good, close to plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops.

Excellent place to stay

Modern, comfortable stay. The service was excellent from the restaurant, to cleaners and reception. Reception even went out of their way to purchase a paracetamol for my daughter. My only feedback is to ensure all doors close and open properly before allowing guests to use the room. Although our door to the bathroom did not open properly, it was fixed promptly once we advised staff. Otherwise an excellent place to stay!

Great hotel, friendly staff and very clean while offering good food. Unfortunately, the noise from the works happening throughout the day ternishes the experience. It would have been better to notify people ahead of time (i.e. on Expedia) rather than on the spot. A gesture to compensate for this would have been welcomed.

My stay here was perfection. It’s decorated beautifully, clean and quiet. The food was very good and the staff kind and helpful. The pool is very nice and I had a great massage. Wish I could have stayed longer!

Clean, comfy, & great service; mind the mosquitoes

The service & cleanliness were great. Front desk was always available to help with taxi booking, scooter rental, etc. The only downside was the open air bathroom & mosquitoes - I didn't think it was going to be that bad, but I got loads of mosquito bites throughout the week there. A warning to those who attract mosquitoes as much as I do.

Great stay in Kuta!

Sikara was a perfect place for us to stay in Kuta for our honeymoon! The service was outstanding, the staff were all friendly and accommodating. It was walkable to the many shops and restaurants nearby, but far enough away that it felt private and quiet (even with a lot of construction in the area). We loved being able to rent motorbikes directly from the hotel! It was a good deal and allowed us to explore Lombok for daily surf trips. And then follow it with an in-room massage afterward? What could be better! We both agreed we wish we could have stayed here longer.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sikara, Donna on reception was fantastic, food was good but more Choices would be better….the spa & beauty would be better if it had its own studio rather than going to a room, plus some More Thorough training of the massage and beauty team Would benefit the spa treatments Otherwise highly recommend Sikara

Perfect for relaxing stay in Kuta Lombok

We loved our stay! Our room was spacious and comfortable. The grounds were kept to a high standard. The pool was ideal. The food at the restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. Best best of all though were the staff who were helpful and smiling at all times. I look forward to staying again.

It was great! Super comfortable and cozy! The rooms are enormous and luminous. Maybe it would be good to be possible to make a late check out for some hours.

A real Oasis

A simplistic modern resort hidden away from all the noise but within walking distance of everything and is truly wonderful. Nice pool. Staff were a delight and food in La Cabana was good. There is no sign on the main road, so our driver had a bit of difficulty finding it.

The hotel was nice. Pros: spacious room, very nice bathroom and shower, plentiful hot water until we tried to fill the bathtub with hot water then it ran out which was expected. The pool was nice, and the property was overall very clean and they accommodated us very well. They had a chargeable bottle of wine, which was disappointing because we don’t drink due to religious reasons and Lombok being an island of Muslims should have known that. The biggest pro was probably the restaurant, which was very good, except one meal they undersalted the food.

Lovely hotel

Very nice hotel situated 5 min walking distance from the "main street" with plenty of restaurants. 15 min walk to the gym and 15 min to the beach. So the location is superb. Staff very friendly and helpful. Everything felt modern and up to date. Good chill vibe and nice food in the restaurant. Maybe just a recommendation to management is to perhaps make the hotel an adults only? All rooms have windows/balconies towards the pool area and kids playing in the pool at 7am is not perhaps the way you want to wake up on your vacation hehe. Otherwise, it is a very lovely place!

In general, the facilities were quite nice and picturesque. We would certainly stay there again and think we just had bad luck. Our air conditioner did not work and it took the better half of the afternoon until maintenance was able to resolve the issue. It would have been nice to be offered a drink or food while we waited for it to be fixed. Though no fault of their own, there were many families staying at the resort which made the grounds a bit noisy. The hotel is far enough off the main strip that walking at night was slightly inconvenient (though, being across from the Chili Crab restaurant was great!).

Great stay but too many mosquitoes in the room

Lovely place and great staff, but the outdoor toilets get a bit annoying if you stay multiple days due to the amount of mosquitoes in the room. The door to the bathroom did not close 100% in our room, so there was always mosquitoes in the room. You can fight most of them, but during our 2 weeks stay we had to setup a daily evening routine to avoid being bitten all night. The hotel does provide a small mosquito repellent, but it didn’t really help. We went to the local supermarket and bought the repellent they recommended. Every evening we sprayed the top of our blankets and kept the fan running all night. After doing these steps, we had an amazing stay. But the first 3 nights were rough and got lots of mosquito bites. We almost wanted to leave our prepaid booking and go somewhere else. The high review is due to the staff and the calm quiet vibe within the hotel area.

Perfect stay - would book again

Amazing stay! The room was very comfortable (the fancy shower is a plus). We ended up eating at the restaurant most of the time as it was great. The breakfast is super high quality, with home made bread, fresh fruits, great coffee, juice, and many options…the pools are both fine. The staff is really nice and willing to help. Would book again!
