Our experience was like most of the other reviews. Great AC. Clean room and property. Nice pool. Staff were outstanding. The only problem I had was with the internet. A fair amount of time I had to go out of my room to get a connection, but it gave me a chance to sit on the nice balcony, so it wasn't all bad. Highly recommend.

Fantastic location for walking to the beach, Legian and eateries, but lovely and quiet. We had huge rooms, yes, in need of a spruce up. The shower screens need to be the target of a working bee - a lot of soap scum buildup, but otherwise clean. There was a leak starting in the bathroom ceiling which they need to look at. Probably a lot of repairs needed post Covid. Pool looked a little cloudy, and we wished for a bit more shade, as the water is warm, but nice for an early morning swim. Beds were super comfy, linen and towels nice and clean. If you want to spend your holiday dollars on experiences rather than fancy hotel rooms, this is the place for you. We will stay again when visiting friends in Kuta.

Stayed room 701 March 12 2020 king bed had collapsed springs slept in middle of bedbug kept rolling to edge. Room is next to staff quarters stairway with staff clunking up and down on wall side pipes banging which would be easy fix get some clamps soap dispenser did not dispence they fixed them they still didn't work other than that it is a nice place good restaurant

The hotel itself is very nice, but there are no lounges or places to sit and relax, apart from your room.The hotel does not have a restaurant, they use the one at the front, which has the same name but is a different business,its not bad, but the breakfast is a sad affair, everything is charged seperately, $7aud for breakfast, 2aud for Indonesian coffee, 80c for milk,1aud per tea bag, and so on, top hotels in the area do smorgasbord breakfast, unlimited, for $13aud.

The staff at Yulia were amazing! They are very friendly and helpful in any way. I would recommend adding the breakfast package, if you're not planning on visiting different places each morning, as the selection is quite good and very tasty. The whole property is very clean, it is a great location, far enough away from the main road for insulation, and only a very short walk to the beach.

Security issue - beware !
Staff forgot to give us back our passports after we gave them to photocopy. We only realised that after our lunch as we were so tired. The same staff was also rude and condescending when we checked in. One of our rooms was in the new wing and it was unbearable. Even at 18c, the room was like an oven and even with the cold water tap set at max coolness, it was running hot water throughout. We even changed the room from ground level to a higher floor but same problem.

Great position
The hotel is very good, staff good ,the position is very near to all the shops clubs etc my only concern would be the wifi very poor in the bedrooms not working at times.it is available in the restaurant and very good if wifi is what you need i would book another hotel

Loved our stay at Yulia Beach Inn. It’s quiet, it’s in the heart of Kuta, the staff are friendly and always have time for a chat. Love the gardens which are very lovingly maintained by the ground keeper who has worked here forever.

The property is right in the heart of busy Kuta, yet it is nice and quiet. Room was large and spacious. Love the gardens, which are well maintained.

They went above and beyond to make sure my stay was pleasant. Got free upgrade to a bigger and quieter room due to my injuries. Front desk also helped me print out a document and saved me from lengthy hunt for a print shop. Food at the restaurant is delicious (my favorite is the grilled tuna). Highly recommend!

I stayed at this hotel for a period of 3 weeks over August 2019. I booked a Deluxe Premier room for 21 nights. When checking in I was told that I had been upgraded to the Super Deluxe. Initially I wast that excited as the room still seemed old and outdated, So when a refurbished room was available they immediately offered it However on checking the room and after a few days in the upgraded room I decided to stay in the room. The hotel is set back off the street with very little noise which is amazing considering its location. If you have been to Bali before you would have walked past this hotel without even knowing its there. It's very private. If you haven't been you should consider this hotel, it is central to everything, Kuta Square is about 1 min walk, Beachwalk is like 6 mins, discovery mall not that much further. The staff were all amazing and super honest. Many times I had left money on desks, floors, at NO stage was anything missing. The hotel itself is "old school" needs a lick of paint and some rooms need updating, but overall I would stay here again. The pool is kinda small for the amount of rooms there is, and closes at 6pm which is way too early. Since going out on day trips often getting back around this time or later only to not be able to in the pool was not that great. There was also a 2 days without pool access due to some issue. not great. Special shout out to the house keeping staff who looked after my room, you did/do a great job !!

No lift on site
On arrival at 2am found that the information on the property is incorrect as there is no lift. As my wife recently had knee surgery this was an important consideration on choosing this motel. We were not able to be given a ground floor room until the next day. Other than this the motel is OK and would stay again

Great location off Jl Pantai Kuta and just to the rear of Kuta Square. Traffic noise from busy streets not a factor, my wife and I were amazed that once past Reception you felt as if you were in an oasis of calm. Nice gardens maintained daily. Friendly helpful staff throughout. Spacious room, a little dated, but abundant storage for long term guests. Bed large and comfortable. Very good selection of TV channels for those interested. Bar fridge in room for your use. Ample toiletries supplied. Room maintained spotlessly clean, I'm sure we had bed linens changed daily. We did not pre-book breakfast but enjoyed a few early morning meals and other snacks at the restaurant. We would have no hesitation in staying at Yulia Beach Inn again.

Will stay here again!
We have stayed at the Yulia Beach Inn 6 times in the last 5 years... love this property, especially at the new rooms, the restaurant and the reasonable price. Will stay there again next year. The only thing I would change is the maintenance on the swimming pool. it gets murky and unattractive after a days use. So we stopped using it. Otherwise excellent all around.
