"A great location to explore Kyoto. We had the Bamboo Room (Take) which was huge, more than enough space for the average family with two bedrooms. The kitchenette was useful, and the washer-dryer in the room was a convenient surprise in the middle of our holiday! The breakfast option is outsourced and whilst convenient there are other options nearby. "

"My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. The staff is wonderful and very attentive. Breakfast and lunch is very authentic Japanese cuisine, be aware if you have picky eaters or dietary restrictions. The rooms are clean and roomy with complimentary tea and snacks replaced every night. The only negative is the location, if you are traveling from another city be aware their shuttle is only for select times and if you miss that the only option is the city bus. "It was a very unique experience. They were agreeable, and when language was a barrier, even those who didn't know English, they were fluent enough to understand what you were saying and what you wanted/needed and delivered promptly. While I did attempt to use my limited Japanese, it was just that, limited. Whenever I'm in Kyoto again, I would likely come back to this Inn."
