"Our stay at the Hilton North LAX wasn’t the absolute worst place we’ve ever stayed, but also did NOT live up to the wonderful reviews that I read. At first glance it looks okay, but our reservation was not seen by the front desk staff, and I had to wait on hold with Hotels.com for 30 minutes to resolve it. Then “magically” we had a room. After a long flight, this was not ideal. Once in the room, things were definitely not what we expected of an Embassy Suites. Things were broken, ripped, torn, not working or molded (the hotel phone didn’t even work). I took pictures of all the issues. It was honestly pretty gross in the bathroom/shower area. We definitely won’t be returning and DO NOT recommend this Embassy Suites. Also note - covered parking is available at $69/day."

"The biggest issue with all hotels in the USA for a international visitor is the incidental hold deposits which range from $50 up to $500 per night at some hotels. You need also to be totally transparent on your website and Official app what the holiday deposit is and that includes third party agents like Bookings.com and Expedia. These holds can take between 30 and 60 days to get back especially with a debit card. So the initial contact when the hotel is requested already creates a negative feeling. We don’t charge these holds in the UK. As for your property. You have over sold the M Club rooms with private access so I had to wait until 5pm before getting the room I booked. The bed next to the window the mattress was hanging off the base. Some TV channels the picture froze on a few channels especially TNT. The show in my room had very poor water pressure and was told it needs something fitting which can be done quickly. The WiFi was very slow. Only one bathrobe for 2 guests. The water pressure in the basin was also poor. I think you also need a shave mirror. The M Lounge you had no diet drinks and was told you were changing suppler so didn’t have any. You had no glasses only paper cups on day 2. There is no security in the Lounge any people just tailgate other guests when not having lounge access. I probably could visit that lounge and have breakfast everyday without even being a guest. No midday snacks happened. My room wasn’t cleaned in 2 days"
