"During the recent heat wave in France we had to find a hotel with air conditioning. We found this hotel on Expedia and it was fantastic! Great AC, staff that provided valuable restaurant advice and a wonderful pool to beat the heat. I highly recommend."

Unfortunately there is no free onsite secure parking as the Expedia Hotel details state ie “ Onsite parking available Convenient and secure onsite parking, a rare amenity in the area.”. This is not at all accurate, You have to park on the closest street to the property. Free parking is only between 6pm and 9am. We paid €15 for three hours before the 6pm free time. "Absolutely idyllic location, surrounded by greenery with a view down to the lake. Large room in the old part of the castle was clean and beautifully furnished with a large bathroom. The pool is situated in a peaceful part of the grounds and was very relaxed spot to stay with a book. The owners were very helpful and welcoming - we ordered chilled wine on the terrace and a lovely breakfast the next day. Highly recommend staying here."
