"Stayed at Hotel Alta Montaña and it delivered exactly what you want from a mountain base. Clean, quiet, and well run. The staff are genuinely welcoming, not just polite, which makes a difference when you’re staying a few days. The views are outstanding, especially sitting above the cloud layer at around 1,400 meters. From a cycling standpoint, the location is hard to beat. You’re essentially on the climb the moment you roll out. You can head straight toward Teide or descend as far as you like...

"Property could have been in a better location, the property we were staying at was at another resort across the road. It took them a while to locate our room. My mum has physical disabilities and we did request easy access room, even though they gave us a room with little stairs it was still a challenge for my mum and also the floors were slippery. Apartment was ok, could have been better but the balcony was with a great view."

"Spa was fantastic. Service was excellent. Hotel is dated as seen by peeling wallpaper, a phone next to toilet that is inoperable and low budget art on the walls. "

"Le personnel est agréable, l'hôtel en lieu même est bien situé et il y avait pas trop de monde . Par contre le buffet le soir pas exceptionnel et les boissons sont payantes même l'eau , la qualité n'est pas au rendez-vous pour un 5 étoiles idem pour le petit déjeuner pas mal de produits congelés . Revoir vos dessert car ils sont sans saveur et pratiquement tout le temps la même choses."

"it was in a very good location, 15 minute walk away from the main town but still had some shops and bars near to the hotel. very clean, good selection of food. Only thing was the pool could do with a good deep clean and tiles need a freshen up but other then that everything was perfect"

"If you book this hotel, make sure you choose the “Preferred Club” option. The location is excellent, and the hotel itself is nice and cozy. The pool is not very large, but it is big enough. The staff were great, except for one person who ruined an entire evening for us, I am not exaggerating! I still cannot believe someone could act so unprofessionally. "Centrally located in old city, 5mins from train station. Plenty restaurants. Breakfast on the roof was nice. But, beware, also on roof is a busy noisy bar, frequented by locals. Lots of noise early in the morning from Housekeeping on rooftop."

"This a good hotel specially regarding location and amenities around. The building is nice as well but need more maintenance as it’s very old. Need to improve and do maintenance in the pool and also rooms. The breakfast it’s not fantastic, very usual and nothing special. The coffee machine is disaster, ( really worth to change it to better one), pastries are very good. Staff are very nice and helpful as well."
