"Absolutely loved this place and would recommend it to anyone who wants to feel close to nature while staying in La Fortuna. Our bungalow was spacious and cute and we could hear the amazing sounds of the cicadas, frogs, and occasional howler monkeys throughout the night and birds in the morning. "Great experience!!! Staff friendly, very attentive. Property with excellent conditions, great views. The only thing negative to mention is how to get to the hotel, street in very poor conditions. When you drive the first time is very uncomfortable because you think you are lost, but not your are on the right way LOL"

"It was the worst hotel experience I have ever had.
There was almost no water pressure in the room, and the toilet was not functioning properly.
We paid extra for the barbecue dinner, but the quality of the meat was quite disappointing.
At 9:00 PM, the power went out. There was absolutely no communication from the staff regarding the situation, guest safety, or when the issue might be resolved.

"Lovely self sustaining eco resort in the midst of the forest.
We loved the food, the coziness of the cabin, the yoga classes, and wandering around the property. The farm tour and the night tour were fun activities to do with a 4 year old.
We did not like: occasional smell of sewage around the property, especially around the pools. Dated bathrooms in cabins - needs a refresh. Construction noise around the property.
