"Catalina Beach Resort is my happy place. The beach and views are amazing, the staff excellent, and though the property is a bit tired it is clean and well maintained. Their beach bar is the best and the breakfasts outstanding. Be mindful that it spills down the cliff and there are many stairs! I love this place. "

Captain of the Restaurant is a phenomenal woman named Jazmin Sous who runs an incredible team of servers and I’ll just name a few Luis Angel, Martin, Adolfo Armando, Clara, Ricardo, Ismael, Yasmin, Lilliana, Cesar and Baltasar. Their whole mission is to make your vacation as wonderful as they possibly can and it’s an incredible way to start the day and then it’s off to the beach where you run into another incredible group of servers that are there to elevate your beach day. Alberto runs a team including Margarito, Xavier,Sergio, David, Jose Juan, Edwin, Emanuel, Ivan, and Nefali and they are at your service the entire day. The rooms are clean, crisp with gorgeous views. The hotel lobby is beautiful. My husband and I have been going here for many many years and the beauty of the hotel and the kindness of the staff is what brings us back every year."

"Food was okay! What i did not like is only two elevators were working. There was a lot of people waiting in line. Pool was not too clean. And overall it really sucked because thanks to airline Aeromexico we lost a day at the hotel."
