"Great place to stop around Matera"

"Lovely property. You need a car if going to old Matera. Grocery store close by. Pretty grounds and great pool (although like most Italian pools, not heated.) we found easy parking lots near the historic area so it is ok. The photos are deceiving because the spa whirlpool tub is not included - you have to pay 100 euro per couple to use those amenities. That should be made clear in the listing or they shouldn't show the photos. " Cave" hotel room is fun but only a window at door and in bathroom....

"The location of Brasiliani is incomparable, in the heart of the Sassi, but on the very edge of the ravine and the uninhabited Sassi area. It is stunning, quiet and walkable. The staff are lovely, and shuttle you from the car parking area. The breakfast is soooo good. Honestly, it was amazing."

"Overall great, friendly staff, good location, good room, the breakfast voucher at a cafe is nice (coffee/ croissant). One downside: the room was not very well soundproofed. You could hear what’s going on around and I.e. above you (steps). lt was not extremely bad, and didn’t really care, no problem. But if somebody is very sensitive they may inquire - possibly other room would be better, I had “old lace”"

The breakfast was very good I used the spa and could relax for an hour I had great difficulty finding the hotel and needed help to locate and bring suitcases over difficult paths. Perhaps the hotel could send information to guests about the difficulty to be reached. On leaving the staff made arrangements to carry suitcases to a taxi I...
