"The property consists of small apartments best suited for elderly couples. Their existing clients well represent that. We stayed with two teenage kids and it was tight, somewhat not fitting for the purpose.
The hotel has no AC so I would not recommend staying unless the outside temperatures are below 15C. The windows open but the street is extremely loud even at 3 am."

"Perfect location in the beautiful city of La Rochelle. Absolutely loved our stay and proximity to the centre. Some amazing restaurants close by and plenty of places to hire bikes to explore the area. 5* will definitely be back"

"This hotel was a great find! It’s situated on the harbour front with easy access to everything - station, buses, boat trips and the lovely old city. Staff are friendly and attentive. The room was clean and spacious with a comfy bed and had shutters which helped a good night’s sleep.
The heated outdoor pool is a real bonus.
We had a lovely stay!"

"The property gave off Best Western vibes. The carpet was old, the rooms were a mix of traditional and modern. That can be done well, this wasn’t. Our air conditioning was broken, so they put a stand up unit in the room which worked but was loud and meant we had to keep the window open for the hose to vent. The hotel offered us 2 free drinks because of the inconvenience. No lotion or anything more than shampoo and soap in the bathroom. The towels were small, relatively thin, but they were nice...

"The hotel is very small (maybe 16 rooms) and right on the old port. You simply cannot beat the location. Check-in was a bit unusual, as the reception was not open for check-in until 3 pm. There is an option for an earlier check-in for a small fee but we arrived right at 3. There is no elevator and the initial stairs up to the reception area are steep.
