Awesome concrete construction meaning things are solid, the bunks are spacious and comfortable with NO CREAKING! Spacious shower and good lighting. Common area has beautiful rooftop to look out to the ocean. Great hangout area near kitchen, tranquil.
Loved the atmosphere, the outdoor kitchen and large patio with great views, so close to beach, activity schedule for guests, very friendly staff. Would stay again!
The staff is very helpful, it allow us to shower after an activity we had, even tho we checked out that day. The bedroom was nice, very comfortable bed, however the bathroom is extremely small, the space on the shower and bathroom area is very limited. The door to the bathroom should be a sliding door, instead of a regular one, cause it hits the bed. Also we didnāt get any Breakfast as advertised.
Friendly and helpful staff and volunteers. Well stocked kitchen. Great atmosphere. I feel like they would find a way to help with any request for food, activities, places to go. We'd stay there again.

Nice place with pretty view. There was no hot water, no coffee for days and limited choice of smoothies for our included breakfast.
If you want peace and quiet this your place. The views from the property were amazing. Itās an easy walk to the beach and stores. The bed was very comfy. Would stay there again.
Stayed as a couple for what started as 4 and turned into 6 nights here - in the King bed rooms and loved every minute of it. The photos donāt do the view justice, while the area calls you to adventure all day, any moment at the hostel is well spent as well. Organized, clean, delicious smoothies (we started every day with a couple browns), strong ass coffee, and just lovely overall. Would stay again :)
We had an amazing time at LVH&H. Miguel, the main host was friendly and spoke excellent english. All of the staff, Jorge, Patty, Erica etc were great.
Our room was a smaller one with a queen bed and was comfy. I would probably get a king sized one next time because I travel with my husband but for the cost it was great.
They have an excellent smoothie and coffee bar open every morning, and a communal kitchen that is organized and clean.
We will absolutely be staying here again!
We loved everything about this property!
It has a friendly hostel feel with some very cozy hangout spaces, yoga mats to use, hammocks and a well equipped communal kitchen. The staff were amazing and very helpful. Carlos helped to organize a Sea tour for us at an affordable price. The smoothies were delicious and the sea view room we stayed in was beautiful with a hammock outside.
We were a bit hesitant to book at a hostel/hotel as we were travelling with a young child and like some privacy but we all immediately felt at home. Being set back from the main road was also nice as you didn't hear the traffic noise and we slept very well in the peaceful environment. We would definitely return, hopefully soon!! I am going to miss the sunrises from the rooftop deck every morning!
I understand we booked at a hostel but we expected something a little nicer. The place was filthy. Service was good, friendly staff and if we needed anything ie extra towels or loo roll, they were great. However Iād say the only other positives are 1. The roof terrace is a great addition to the hostel especially for sunrise in a morning! 2. The WiFi was good and 3. The beds were comfortable (which for us was a major plus). I think this hostel could benefit from a big refurb and to be honest could be a really nice place to stay if it was updated.
This is a fantastic hostel, and with a little effort might qualify as a hotel. Find some sheets and towels that arenāt threadbare and dirty looking. Have some soap in the room. Donāt advertise a breakfast that doesnāt exist. Get a dispenser for fresh water thatās not an open bottle in the grubby shared kitchen. We booked a week and lasted one night because we had hotel expectations. On a positive note, there is a coffee and smoothie bar, and there are some nice places to sit and enjoy the view.
This was one of the worst hotel stays we have ever experienced and we travel a lot. There was not hot water in the bathroom sink, the water pressure in the shower was so bad I could not wash my hair and the bed was rock hard. It was a horrible stay.
Best Hostel in all Baja, one of a kind, the place itself has a soul, it is not just bricks and a bed, you become part of it. The staff is super friendly, welcoming and helpful. Place is clean and walking distance to the beach and stores nearby. Sometimes I left things in the kitchen, common area, and nothing was ever missing.
