The hotel was very clean, and the staff was friendly and very helpful. They helped us arrange all our trips around the island. The restaurant is also amazing, with great food and atmosphere. The only downside is the lots of stairs, and carrying bags up and down was a little hard, but the staff is pleased to help. Overall, it was a great stay and I would 100% recommend it!
A great hotel/hostel a 10 minute walk from the waterfront. Good food and decent view. The staff are friendly and helpful. Loud until 10 or 11PM. It was a great value and I would stay here again if I went back to Labuan Bajo.
lovely rooms and friendly staff. restaurant food was delicious and so worth the money that i stayed in to dine most nights (try the nasi goreng!). the walls are very thin, even in the private rooms, so not ideal for light sleepers — especially since there's live music some nights. if you engage the laundry service, do check your items — they initially missed out a piece but managed to find it fortunately.
We had a great stay at Seaesta Komodo. The hotel-style room was small but perfect for the price (clean, comfortable, and well-designed). The pool area is definitely the highlight, with awesome views and a fun vibe, though it can get a bit crowded in the afternoon, so go early to grab a good spot. Food was solid, and the whole place has a relaxed, social energy without being too loud. Would definitely stay again.
Double rooms are fairly compact but well designed, attractive and very clean. The roof terrace is stunning with views over the bay, and has plenty of seating with bars, restaurant service and a pool.
Amazing expereince and extremely social hostel. I would recommend if you are looking for a social/party based hostel but still want your own privacy. The only thing is that the showers only had cold water so that sucked. Also the bed tends to get REALLY heated at nighttime because the AC isn't strong enough. But otherwise really good restaurant at the rooftop and good facilities.
For the price, it’s wonderful. Rooftop pool is great. Gym is nice but had to call front desk because it opened late, private room was good. Breakfast is not included but it is delicious. The service could have been better. Another restaurant/bar in Indonesia where half the staff doesn’t speak English well and the bartender only knows how to make drinks explicitly on the menu.
Dorm room wasnt great. Cramped, incredibly hot and bags all over the floor. Difficult to access top bunk. Upgraded to private room which was much better, althiugh expensive, despite sewage smell. Food was overpriced. Great view from pool and bar.
First night before joing a boat was a dorm room...bed was comfy but the ladder to the top bunk was really difficult and the room too hot for me (air con set at 24). They kindly stored my luggage whikst i was overnight on the boat and i returned to a twin room. It was beautiful although being ground floor there were occasional smells in the bathroom. Yes, there's some music noise but its not on too late and nothing ear plugs can't solve. Didnt get to use the stunning roof top pool, but did eat there ...the food was good, if a little expensive for the portions. Needs more vegan options. The worst thing was the whole restaurant being smoking so you couldnt escape the smoke when you ate. Perhaps smokers should be given a seperate area?
BEST HOSTEL EVER!!! Prettier than any hostel i have ever been in. Roof top pool and bar was amazing, all the amenities were great! Everything was clean and the washrooms were also very nice. Big showers and good mirrors. I would definitely recommend and i’m sad i only got to spend one night.
This place is fab. The food and cocktails were great. We really enjoyed the live music and the general vibe of the place. It is however heavily aimed at backpackers, it definitely has a hostel feel. Have good ear plugs otherwise you won't sleep!
we enjoyed staying at this hotel which was closed to the harbour.
We were staying in a private room, it was clean, decent size and has comfortable bed.
Note that the hotel has a partnership with a diving center and a day trip cruise which gives you some discount.
Also another thing to keep in mind when booking is that the hotel has a DJ and live music (good music by the way) during the weekend so if you were planning on sleeping early and looking for calm accomodation it is probably not a good choice for you
Dorm room was very clean with plenty of room to store things. Rooftop/pool area was very nice to chill in. There is a water machine to fill your bottle which is convenient. The bathroom was clean, but smelled of sewage which made me gag every time I entered. Wifi was quite weak and I had to mostly use my data during my stay. Also, they do not allow you to order food delivery if you are staying in the dorms, so I wound up having to eat at their overpriced restaurant a lot as I did not have a scooter and was not feeling well enough to walk far some days.
Everything is new - but they designed the place so there are no windows to open in the rooms, so it is not possible to get fresh air in the room (making the room too warm and smell damp). The outside temperature is pleasant at night time - so it is basically just bad design.

I got bad food poisoning on the last night I stayed here (I only ate there and no where else). I was sick that night at 1am, at the airport the next day, on the airplane and for 5 days after that. I'd Thai green curry on the last night and it was lukewarm and didn't taste right, I'm sure this is what made me sick.
