This latter detail comes at a price, though; it's a creaky, old building lacking in certain modern features. But you'll overlook that for the most part. "Very cheap rooms. Very uncomfortable. No closets, no night stand, not a single lamp or light in the room above eye height, very dark at night. Open place to hang clothes, that's it. This is ABSOLUTELY not a 4-star hotel. The room is 2-star level. Location is very subpar also - too far from center of town. Breakfast is OK. Some in the staff are very unhelpful - our AC didn't work for a full day (it was so uncomfortable), yet they first refused to do change our room when they couldn't fix it. Only...

"Charmingly quirky decor, spacious apartments , lovely breakfast and amazing staff. We were so pleased we chose this hotel as our Vienna base. Tram stop right outside and you can catch the cheaper train to the airport as well! Shout out to the staff at the other branch who calmed me down and got me a taxi when a google maps disaster and dead phone made me worried I was going to miss my concert !"

Since we arrived early, I asked if it would be possible to have breakfast, but my request was refused. I then asked about early check-in and was told to come back after 12:00 PM. When I returned at 12:30 PM, I was informed that I could check in only if I paid an additional €25 for early check-in, even though the room was clearly already available. While the official check-in time is 3:00...

"The hotel is very modern, clean and have a lots of storage. Laundry and kitchen equipment are well equipped. Very close to subway stations grocery store. The reception was friendly."
