"Emma and Chris were fantastic hosts. Breakfasts were delicious and the evening meal in their restaurant awesome. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet place to base your Rocky Mountain Natl Park vacation. We will gladly go back."

"Don’t be fooled by the motel-esque appearance of this establishment. Yes the rooms are old and could use an upgrade but they are very clean and were so convenient for our family. There were dishes, silverware, a toaster, freshly ground coffee, microwave, dish soap, several towels , all toiletries. And it was spotless, the beds were comfortable. The first night around 9 there was really loud music and us and several guests were confused but the next morning we asked them to not do their light show at that time because we have little kids and they listened! We really appreciated that. The main office has games and books and refreshments. And the sound of the river is absolutely what makes this place worth all $$$ it costs."

"Room was very comfortable, quiet, and clean. It had an area with a small refrigerator/freezer, microwave, and Keurig. The balcony was out the front door and shared with 4 other units, but nice sitting area. Saw a herd of elk all around the property in the morning, wow! Pool and jacuzzi were very nice and clean. Breakfast was delicious with many choices. Really enjoyed our stay."

"We were in the Lodge Building with many steps to enter the building. There was no staff to help with our heavy luggage or any ramp to the building. Our room had peeling paint on the windows and had a portable loud air conditioner. When we turned it off to open the two windows and turn on the ceiling fan, the ceiling fan had no control knob and would not turn on. Luckily 10 minutes later a ghost must have turned it on high. After that we could not turn it off. Also one of the two windows had no screen Other than that the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was good with great water pressure. Overall our stay was nice. The History tour and the Shing tour were great. Be prepared for the many tourists coming in and out of the main hotel looking around and going on tours. Plus there is a lot of construction going on behind the main hotel and the Lodge building with noise starting at 7 am. Dinner in the MacGregor Chophouse was excellent. Casual dining in the Cascades room was good for lunch but there is no different dinner menu."

"Older Hotel, but well kept and clean !! Staff was helpful on everything we asked of, the views are Wonderful and a short walk down the hill to the Golf Course. Highly Recommended!!!"

"I strongly recommend this lodging choice. It is an absolutely beautiful park like and peaceful setting yet nearby to Estes Park activities. The cabin was spacious clean and beautifully decorated. I could have stayed a week. Check in and check out was the best so far. Friendly and was given a book on Estes Park activities. Met people on property who have returned here some as many as 5 times."

"This was the nicest hotel with the greatest location and the nicest staff. They had popcorn and s’mores every evening and snacks. They had a nice breakfast in the morning. I highly recommend this one in Este Park."

"Definitely a little out dated but had water bottle filling and ice machines. Mostly a convenient place to sleep with easy access to the national park for our stay."
