"First off the employees at the hotel are friendly and willing to answer all questions and eagerly help with anything they can. This includes the shuttlebus driver, receptionist and the hotels restaurant wait staff. The price for the room was great, I would have expected to pay more upon arriving. However, it is 25 minutes from the airport and I have to say if you are flying out of Athens be there 3 hours in advance, it is a zoo. The room was clean and fresh. "The hotel is hidden, like most of the small hotels, in a maze of crowded, dirty streets with horrible sidewalks. Very noisy at all hours. The directions given by the staff to find the hotel were worthless. We were maneuvering 4 large luggage as we were going on a 10 day cruise. The route from the Metro to the hotel did not accommodate rolling luggage. The staff were not rude, just indifferent to any questions. There was a taxi strike and they had no suggestions as to getting to the Cruise port....

"The location is absolutely beautiful, the food delicious and the staff were amazing and helpful. They even packed us takeaway breakfasts when we had early morning excursions. Not to mention the stunning beach and the wonderful view of the Temple of Poseidon. We visited at the end of the September and the water was still so warm. Such a hidden gem. We didn't want to leave."

"Shamir at the front office was outstanding. The breakfast was great. The room was clean but small although we booked a comfort room. The shower was terrible no pressure and very small. Only the mattress in the room which was comfortable but no chair, night table or closet. There were steps in the room which was a hazard. Bed sheets were clean."

"We would absolutely stay at the Poseidon Athens hotel again. We loved the proximity to the beach. The hotel was quaint and had fabulous staff. They could have not been more helpful, particularly as we navigated a taxi strike! The breakfast was incredible and so fresh. The hotel is very close to the tram line that goes directly into the heart of Athens, making it a very affordable and convenient way to travel. "
