"The room was clean and quite big for our needs but it was overlooking a very busy and extremely noisy highway so it was very difficult to have a good night’s rest. In addition, there were many small children staying in the hotel and making lots of noise running and jumping without parental supervision. The hotel staff did not seem to care about the turmoil. There were a few fast food places very close to the hotel and one Mexican restaurant which actually served us delicious food after hours....

"It was a beautiful location, the bed was comfy and the room clean. They even accommodated our breakfast at 8 instead of the standard 9am because we had a whitewater trip and we had to be there at 9. "Granted, it was very busy with all the rooms in the immediate area being snatched up by the Big Boy steam train event, but the inability to have a working phone in the room for a wake up call is unacceptable. Not everyone always has a cell phone or remembers to carry a charger with them when they travel. (or forgets and leaves it in airplane mode) A working phone in a hotel room and dependable wake up calls is not too much to ask when a guest is paying their money to stay there."

"I'm fairly certain this place should be shut down. No TV, it stinks like mildew, old dirty furniture in the hallway, roach in the room, fridge broken, mold everywhere, no staff, felt unsafe and abandoned."

"While the heat worked and there were no bugs nor bad smell, this stay was highly disappointing. Because Econo Lodges are privately owned franchises, quality varies, and it’s clear this owner cuts every corner possible. The room looks nothing like the advertised photos and doesn't even have a proper coat closet. Worse, the sheets were stained and had hair left under them—yet the owner's only excuse was that he and his wife personally changed them. There were also noticeable spider webs and dust...
