"Great breakfast - ample available and hot items (eggs, sausage, biscuits) were fresh and hot. Friendly breakfast preparer was observant of needs and quantities. Double queen room was clean and quiet. Gym was clean and had all the necessities. Treadmills had a great view of the lake! We thought the beds were too firm (firmer than we like) - but that is personal preference - and no one was at the desk in the morning to check us out, so we had to checkout via text. "Location is superb! You can just walk to the scenic lake shore. Room is big and clean. Front desk lady is super nice and warm hearted. She gave us very useful local information and we had a wonderful dinner in the restaurant she recommended. We will certainly re-visit Walker and will stay in this wonderful hotel again."

"Wasn't much to like we booked 2 nights only stayed for 1 as we decided to drive the 3 hours home then try and slerp in the room again. Room was musty smelling and hadn't been dusted in a very long time. Beds were uncomfortable, dirt or something in the pool and and hot tub that didn't work. The continental breakfast was the highlight and that was average at best. Had other family coming to the area and told them we wouldn't recommend staying there"

"Ice machine was out of order, ,our room had something liquid on the floor upon arrival, hair dryer didn’t work , bottom dresser drawer was very dirty, fridge and microwave were not working on arrival. Most quality inns are decent but this one is below our previous quality inn stays"

"It's a good hotel if you need a place to crash on your route to somewhere else. It's functional, close to good travel amenities (adjacent to a Starbucks!, WalMart nearby), and it feels safe."

"Loved the location and the room was beautiful! So appreciated communication prior to arrival which made checking in and settling in very easy. The lake is approximately one block away and is absolutely gorgeous!"
