"Good place to stop in between Indiana and Illinois. Clean room and nice lobby with room to work while having coffee and breakfast. We went to Indiana Dunes NP and this was a convenient stop on our way to Naperville, IL. There is a local eatery/brewery called the Watermark not far from hotel and would highly recommend it."

"As our grandson proclaimed this week 'This is my favorite Hotel'. We had a wonderful stay. We love the redesign of the lobby, restaurant, and bar. We ate at Plank's on Friday for lunch, Friday for dinner, and Sunday for brunch. We were able to eat outside for 2 of the meals. Our grandsons loved sitting out eating with the heaters on. The turning basin is beautiful, we enjoyed watching folks fishing out in the basin. We had a golf side room which faces Hole 5. We read about the hole in the book in our room and were fascinated watching folks tee off and play. We usually take a golf view because that is the side the train is on!!! Needless to say our 4 yo grandson loves to hear the train whistle as it approaches and runs out to watch it go by. Everyone is always so accommodating and helpful. The stay here is well worth the cost. It is our happy place in St. Joe area."
