"Don’t stay there"

"Place was a dump. Toilet didn’t work properly, television didn’t work, remote needed batteries, wifi didn’t work properly. The food menu wasn’t even close to the pictures on line. It was run down and was a disaster. We paid for two nights but checked out after one. Only positive was Claire the manager. "

"Travelled with family and stayed in two Lakeside chalets for 4 nights. Had a most enjoyable time together. Good amenities and well appointed units with Lots of activities for the children. Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended for families and group holidays!"

"Nice location a few km out of Rotorua. The park-like grounds are a bit odd with the Alice in Wonderland themed art, but peaceful and with nice views of the lake in the distance. The rooms are well appointed but have zero soundproofing: you will hear your neighbors snore and chat, and doors are so flimsy you hear everything going on in the common areas. "This was a wonderful accommodation. My husband and I stayed here 3 nights. The views were incredible. Sadly it rained a lot so we didn’t get to enjoy the beautiful grounds. Star the manager could not be any nicer. Anything we wanted she was there to get it for us. Our rooms were cleaned daily and amazing snack drawer was filled. Refrigerator was filled with drinks and replenished daily. Breakfast was made to order and was delicious. Much better than standard continental breakfasts normally...

"We loved this place! Staff was wonderful, rooms were clean and homey. The location was right next to the lake and couldn’t have been more lovely. It was so private it felt like we were a million miles from anyone else. The only complaint was that the bed was too firm for us. "

"The room itself was nice and clean however there were ants all in the bathroom. The spa pool was lovely in big however it didn’t work when trying to turn it on. The staff were nice and friendly and very welcoming. Had a great touch with the coffee machine within the room itself."

"I paid $350 USD for one night, and it feels more like a motel than a hotel. I stayed in room 18 on the second floor, and there’s no elevator, so you have to carry your heavy luggage up the stairs. The carpet feels dirty, and at 12:00 am there’s a lot of noise coming from the bar next door—we can’t sleep. When I called reception, I was told to be patient.
