"We had a wonderful corner lake view room, with lovely views on two sides! Room was spotless, bed was comfy, staff was helpful and friendly. Well maintained and interesting historical building with restaurants and shopping. Beautiful lake walk right outside their doors, walking distance to Leif Erikson Park, the Rose Garden, and Canal park. Greatly enjoyed our stay!"

"parking was fantastic. Room was very spacious and clean. Bathroom was big. #5 is on the second floor. Nice view of the lift bridge and a nice view of Lake Superior from the small balcony. We did take a sauna."

"Staff were very nice and welcoming, gave great recommendations for the area. Facility was clean inside and beds were very comfortable. Temperature inside was warm and rather humid despite the AC. Parking is very difficult if you do not reserve a space for $10+ per night, the area does not allow street parking overnight. Neighborhood is pretty rough. A few guests came into the dorm late into the night (2-4am) dropping cans of beer and making a fair bit of noise but other than that very quiet....

"The room.was clean but nothing special. Our issues were that the area where the room was located stunk of heavy pot. Our room was on the 4th floor and the ice machine didn't work. We ended up.on the 15th floor for ice. We went back up to get more and it was unavailable. When we contacted the desk we were told to try other floor. The ac unit sounded like a plane engine. So either be too hot or listen to that noise. Pretty disappointing for what we paid. I would avoid this hotel."
