Old Orchard Inn

Old Orchard Inn

10/10 Excellent
"Belle endroit avec bon restaurant. C’est un peu bruyant près de la route et le rideau de douche doit être changé. Il a un odeur de linge sale."

"Hotel was comfortable, clean. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to assist your needs quickly, pool and hot tub were under construction, however, they didn’t advertise them either so they weren’t expected. Restaurant food was excellent and very affordable with good portions. I stay there every chance I’m in bridgewater. It’s 15 min to Walmart and other stores, less in town, 30 min to lunenburg and Liverpool. Lots of food places around area within walking. Great place , I recommend %100…."

Magnolia Inn

Magnolia Inn

"Laurie communicated with me before my arrival which was helpful. She showed me the room which was fantastic, #3, I believe, which had a tiled cascading shower. Amenities were top notch: waffle robes, French roast coffee, gourmet teas, water, snacks, mini fridge, consistent and quiet air split system, sitting area, I like that they ask you to remove your shoes at the entrance. Parking off street worked well. Great tips on where to visit and where to eat. Mahone Bay is a much quieter town than Lunenberg but close by. Highly recommend the Magnolia!!"

Fisherman's Daughter Bed & Breakfast

Fisherman's Daughter Bed & Breakfast

10/10 Excellent
"Cathy and Murphy were wonderfully welcoming hosts! She takes good care of a lovely historic property and serves up a generous tasty breakfast. We were so glad we stayed in Mahone Bay rather than Lunenberg -- it was a charming spot, small but lively. Highly recommend this B&B as a home base while visiting the area."

"Had a excellent stay here. Came for one night, stayed for three. Our room was clean, quiet and spacious. The bed and bed sheets was very comfortable. The staff was very nice and friendly. When we walked in through the front door, it was like seeing a old friend again, even though we've never meet before lol. We didn't try the breakfast, so I cannot comment on that. There was a small issue with the key cards deprograming themselves, but only had to go to the desk and they reprogramed them again. Joanne at the desk said that they are having issues with that but they are putting in a new system next month to fix it. The staff was very helpful in making suggestions on places to go and things to do."

Aurora Inn

Aurora Inn

"We had a wonderful one night stay at the Aurora Inn on our way home from Digby. My husband and I were there with my brother and his wife, we had rooms at the back of the building away from the road which was nice and quiet. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was beautiful and very clean; the bathroom was exceptional. It was a very hot day but the room was lovely and cool when we arrived. There is ample parking too."
