"The breakfaster was unbelievable. Especially when they make your Omelette the way you want."

"The location is great. A great coffee shop across the street, quick walk to a number of things (or a quick ride). It’s a great price for the amount of space. We had a corner suite, which did not have a window into the hall, so that was a plus. The omelette station was good at breakfast. However, stay somewhere else. 1) our room wasn’t clean. Writing on the ceiling, lipstick on the sink, it smelled, stained sheets, paint peeling in the room, etc 2) the microwave didn’t work and smelled like fire (the one time we tried to use) 3) the furniture is badly in need of replacing. Large pieces of veneer missing, the pullout sofa was terrible. We slept on the pullout 2 nights and then fit ourselves into the beds for the remainder of our trip 4) the door to the room from the hall was damaged 5) there was a leak from the ceiling by the front desk to check-in on Monday. That leak was still going strong Friday with buckets and towels. Prepare to be splashed by the drip to check in/out 6) I brought all of these issues up during our stay. Someone was always “going to get back to you”… no one has contacted me. It is very affordable, but I will never stay there again. "

"Great location and quiet hotel"

"Staff were helpful at the front desk. Rooms weren't the best maintained though. We had two rooms. In one the A/C barely could keep the room cool despite it being late March. The drain on the tub came loose (clearly having been glued in place a couple of times). There was a remnant of a splatter on the wall above the bathroom garbage that looked like it had been there for some time. The other room had a sticky spot on the carpet that seemed like it was some kind of gummy substance. The tub on that room didn't drain well. Soap dispenser in the shower was empty when we got the rooms. Front desk sent someone up right away, they filled it - but then the shanpoo ran out on the 2nd day (it apparently was nearly empty and wasn'tfilled either). Location is very convenient to the museums. Breakfast at the adjoining Paris Baguette was convenient, and the 10% off as a hotel guest was nice to have. "

"very old and grand hotel. felt like i was in the titanic but a hotel. Was very eerie and felt haunted. if you are in to ghost wonderful place to stay. the stairs alone are just breath taking. "

"Breakfast was awesome and the staff did an amazing job keeping it stocked on a busy weekend. The only complaint I have is outside the hotel's control. The attached parking is a public parking garage that is very tight and fills up fast when there are events in town. The hotel doesn't own the lot so they aren't able to reserve it just for hotel guests. The room was perfect and everything was clean and tidy. We would come back! Front desk staff were also very helpful!"
