"This is an old motel but kept in excellent shape. The maintenance/carpentry is excellent. First time that I've seen crown molding in a bathroom. The bed is comfortable and my wife loved the pattern on the comforter. The location is beautiful, right on the bay, and there are nice benches all around to soak it in. There are no restaurants within a reasonable distance that are open before 10 AM but you can get pastries and coffee within a few miles. We would stay there again."

"This is like luxury hostel lodging - shared bathrooms and kitchen … the price is fantastic … my tv got 1 channel and thankfully it was HGTV! Very narrow and steep stairs - coffee every morning (probably after 8am) and a lovely balcony!"

"The property does not have a safe. Someone knocked on my door very early to clean the room, and the electrical outlets were loose."

"Brand new so of course it’s clean and tidy. Staff was not helpful- a woman was trapped in the elevator for over an hour before they would call 911- they wanted to wait for the tech. Hot breakfast was nice but they weren’t prepared for the volume of people at all! Convenient location - can walk to downtown Novato!"

"Stumbled on this place doing a last minute room search in the area. What a great find! Very nice hotel. Room was clean and bed was comfortable! Even had free breakfast AND wine tasting!! Wow!! Highly recommended!"

"Excellent all around. Parking easy, check in quick and friendly. Right by highway but very quiet for sleeping. Nice hot breakfast and pool sparkles. Glad to return!"

"Wonderful stay convenient shuttle to six flags. One night stay with great amenities like the pool/ jacuzzi open till 10pm. The breakfast was decent and had a lot of options. Rooms feel modern and the products smell amazing. The whole property is cute. Best mini vacay ever! Will def be back. "

"We weren’t at the hotel much during our stay but we did think the room and property were lovely. We did eat breakfast one morning and it was delicious. Staff was helpful and friendly. They have a lot of information about what to do in the area and the complimentary wine and snacks are a great touch!"

"Breakfast consist of waffles, yogurts (which my husband is not a fan) and cereal with no milk in sight :/ House keeping lacking in hallways as it looked like it hadn't been vacuumed it weeks and hair was clogging our shower for what seemed multiple reservations not just one...gross! Hotel was due for a update years ago. But for the price we should've expected this. Customer service was their only saving grace. Curteous and helpful."

"Decent price for a nice hotel room, central courtyard with grass very nice but the outside circle of where to park needs attention. 'Breakfast' was cursory but coffee, fridge and microwave good."
