"Overall the facility is in good shape. It’s obvious they have done work to renovate and modernize things. The bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was typical for this type of hotel (not fancy or amazing, but many options), and the room was clean except for the stain on the comforter."

"Information about hotel indicated that "breakfast provided". When I checked, only coffee was available. When I asked man at reception when breakfast would be, the answer was "soon". When I asked "today?" his English as a second language response was "tomorrow". This delayed my departure, as I had to find some place where I COULD get breakfast. Not a single glass(plastic or otherwise) was provided in the roo m. Shower "floor" was smooth and had no mat available. I slipped, but fortuitously did...

"Nice room, we stayed 2 days. Bed was good, not to soft. Close to river walking trails, and other activities. We would stay there again, if in the area. they Had parking in the basement, nice in the hot summer - kept the car cooler and there was an elevator that took you down to it."

"The historic Hotel Colorado is one of my favorite places to stay. The rooms have been upgraded, and even had AC. (My last stay a few years ago was a bit hot.) The from desk clerk Chelsea was very helpful on my check in. I was a bit disappointed they no longer have deals for the Glenwood Pool right across the street, and only have a bit of a discount with Iron Mountain which is a drive. I love the ambiance of this stately hotel. I can only imagine all the stories that have taken place...

"We have stayed at this hotel more than half a dozen times. They have made the rooms so small that it's disappointing. We had to ask to change rooms when we were given a room with no storage and a bed with no box spring. The next room was small but ok. Bathroom sink was so small it was hard to use. Bedspread was stained which always grosses me out. Will consider staying elsewhere next time. We do love the attached restaurant to this hotel though!"
