Staff were very lovely. Parking was free about 2 blocks away in a lot, which is decent for such a busy part of town. The location is great. Linens and tub/sink were clean, Jacuzzi tub was a nice bonus. The bar was well stocked on the $25 coupon for it was thoughful. They allowed us to check out an hour late. That said… The mini split in the room unusable because it was so dusty it smelled gross. As did the hallway entrance by the restaurant, so I wouldn’t have eaten there anyway. I guess I shouldn’t have taken for granted that there would be a mini fridge in the room, as we brought some snacks and stuff for breakfast, since there’s no breakfast there, and ended up having to throw it and some wine away. (I’ve gotten creative before in similar situations, but the ice machine was in the basement and we were on the fourth floor….) Ultimately it felt more dated than historic and not a good value for the >$400
I shelled out for a birthday getaway.
